De Kronieken continue, and De Maan, Zon van de Doden is my favourite Fluisteraars track since Nasleep! It sports just about everything I love about this band (except for Nasleep's gorgeously weird production fx)! De Mystiek... also is one hell of a ride, and on par with the first EP. Yes I could go into details here, but I really don't want to spoil the fun. All I will say is that Gelderland's very finest gentlemen are back in town and ready to grab you by the balls in the most metal of ways. David Fischer

...and the opening of the shadowy sepulchre that yawns behind it, c'est la construction d'une cathédrale et d'une acoustique qui va avec. Voix et instruments sont spatialisés et on pourra déceler une légère réverbération et des échos. Ce deuxième volet de The Black Mysteries est encore plus symphonique : cuivres viennent se greffer aux chœurs et à l'orgue et, comme dans les albums de Les Chants du Hasard, le black metal existe mais en esprit seulement.
