Formed by veterans from the Dutch Black Metal scene, (formerly) active in bands such as Wederganger, Bezwering and :Nodfyr:, Nagel plays fast and hateful Black Metal that will hit you like an ice-cold whip on your bare back!

Musically positioned in the good old 90’s, at the meetingpoint of Ulver’s Nattens Madrigal, old Gorgoroth and Algaion, with each track, a rusty nail pierces deeper into your flesh.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
